How We Met
While many believe Brèa and Njie first met at a restaurant called Barcelona, the real story has a modern twist. They initially crafted that version for friends, feeling shy to admit they met on Hinge.
During a year-long assignment in California, Brèa’s friends created her profile. After a few interesting dates, she found Njie’s profile—and according to him, she made the first move (still up for debate!). After days of texting and video calls, Njie invited Brèa to dinner at Barcelona—so their story isn’t entirely made up.
Brèa first thought Njie was shy, but after suggesting drinks post-dinner, their bond truly began.
What started unexpectedly grew into something special. Months later, Njie took Brèa to Cameroon to meet his family—a trip full of culture, love, and warmth.
Soon after, Njie proposed—and of course, Brèa said yes.
They eloped on March 3, 2023, in a private, perfect moment.
Now, they can't wait to finally celebrate their love with all of you!
