When Bre and I first met, I knew I had to pursue something with her. We started talking for a while and about a week in, I had asked her on our first date. I know I was excited. We went to the fair, I know, kind of a bad idea for a first date right? It was hot, there were tons of people, which neither of us do well with, but we made the best of it. After, we went to eat Chinese, then off to the mall. We spent that whole day together and had SO much fun. By then I knew there was something special about her. I had asked her just a few days later to be my girlfriend. She declined. This went on for a week. I probably asked her 5 times! We went on our second date and we drove around looking for something to do. September 19th, 2016 we wound up at the Mustang Park, where we shared our first kiss. On September 25th, 2016, after meeting my family, she said yes. Ever since then, it's been nothing short of amazing. Three months in, I knew I loved her. And more importantly, I knew I was going to marry her. And I told her that. We have an absolutely amazing relationship. A fun relationship. I had a lot of things go on financially that I wasn't ready for. Or so I thought. Those things finally took a turn for the best and I got huge sign saying, "It's time." So I went and talked to her mom and asked her for her daughters hand in marriage. The day came a year later, September 19th, 2016, I rallied family and friends together to surprise her at the same exact place and spot where we shared our first kiss and I got down on one knee. One day neither of will ever forget or ever look back on. She's my best friend, my encouragement, and the love of my life.
Caleb showed up in my life when I least expected it. I admit I was a little hesitant at first because I was afraid. After about a week of talking, he asked me on a date. Again, I was hesitant but I was also very, very excited. The heat was miserable and the crowd was annoying but all I could think about was how happy I was to be standing next to him. I went home with a smile and hearts in my eyes, I was smitten. He asked me to be his girlfriend a few days later, which I said no to. I was waiting. I needed to see what he was like around family before I really committed. I will never forget when I finally said yes! After we had our first kiss and we began getting really serious, we were inseparable. Caleb and I have been at each other's hips since that day, and I will never look back. Not many people know where I was at in life when I met Caleb. I had a lot on my plate and I could sense that I was going down a wrong path. I lived in a house with seven other people, I wasn't doing so great in school, and I had friends that were wrong for me. But, I am so thankful because he gave my life purpose. He showed me the right path. I now know what friendship and family really means. I found God all over again and I have set goals for not only myself, but my future family. He changed my life for the better and he continues to surprise me every single day. I thought I was going to hang out with some friends at the arcade. But, instead I was taken to that park to the very same spot we had our first kiss. He proposed. And I said yes. And it was the most surprising and romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. So yeah, I know I was afraid at first but, now I'm not. He makes me brave every moment of everyday. I now know that he was my reason to work hard and be better. He has given me more than just love and affection, he has given me another reason to live life to the fullest. I love you, you are my best friend, my favorite, my love. I'm so happy to share this life with you.
