I met Amanda on Mutual after randomly downloading it for fun because why not. We started talking and after about a day she invited me to her mission homecoming talk. We talked for much longer then either one of us expected. She ended up going to Texas shortly after that and we kept talking each day. Somewhere along the line we both starting to like each other a lot. After a couple weeks we decided to go on a date the day she got back from her trip. Ever since its been a great time! -Brayden I met Brayden on Mutual about 9 days after I got home from serving in the Florida Jacksonville Mission. When I made my account it was my 3rd time on Mutual, and I didn’t have any interest in dating yet or ever going back on Mutual. I talked to a few guys, but Brayden and I talked for only 3 days before he came to my mission homecoming. He ended up coming to the luncheon too, and he stayed for about 7 hours!! We talked, watched the Christmas Devotional, and I showed him the new Book of Mormon videos and my Youtube videos. He was the last one there when my dad told him to go home. We talked and then Skyped while I was in Texas everyday and basically all hours of the night. It was about three weeks after we started talking that I realized I wanted to date him, and the rest is history. I am happy with my result! :) -Amanda

Brayden had asked me if I wanted to go to the Rick’s Garden’s to scope out where I wanted to do our engagement photos. We walked from his apartment, and looked around the Rick’s Garden’s as I showed him my favorite spot, “the Runes.” I had turned back to him as I was fangirling about the achetecture, and I saw that he was getting down on one knee. I thought he was going to propose the following day when we had the photographer, and he had teased me with a fake proposal earlier that week, so I let out a surprise “no!” I thought he was teasing me again. He nodded his head and said “yes,” and he asked if I would marry him. I said yes immediately after! I also may have cried a lot! -Amanda

One day in March after we had bought the ring i asked her to go look at a location for engagement pictures. She was thinking it would be a different day but i pulled out the ring and asked her on her favorite spot of the BYUI gardens. -Brayden
