We will be getting married at Dreams Flora Resort and Spa in Punta Cana
Due to space and budget constraints at our venue, we can only accommodate the guests explicitly listed on your invitation. If your invitation says "[Your Name] & Guest," then yes! Otherwise, we look forward to celebrating with just you.
While we love all your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only children attending are those who are part of the wedding party. We hope you can use this as an opportunity to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!
Yes! We have secured a block of rooms at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa. To get our special group rate, please book your room using the link on our "Travel" page.
Yes, a valid passport is required to enter the Dominican Republic. It must be valid for the duration of your stay.
You will want to fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). It is very close to most of the major resorts, usually just a 15 to 30-minute drive depending on exactly where we are staying.
Our coordinator will take care of coordinating all transportation between the airport and the resort, including both arrival and departure transfers.
Please list any food allergies or strict dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, etc.) directly in the notes section when you submit your RSVP online. We will make sure the kitchen accommodates you!
The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail Attire. We want you to feel elegant but comfortable! For women, think chic cocktail dresses, elegant midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. For men, a suit and tie or a sport coat with dress pants is perfect (no tuxedo required).
Don't forget your swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a sun hat, and bug spray for the evenings. Resort Dining Note: Many of the specialty à la carte restaurants at Punta Cana resorts have a "Resort Elegant" dress code for dinner (men often need closed-toe shoes and collared shirts/pants, and no swimwear is allowed). Keep this in mind when packing for non-wedding nights!
Since all of our wedding events are taking place right on the resort property, no formal transportation is needed! Everything is just a short, scenic walk from your room.
We are hosting an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off your phones and cameras and simply be present with us. We promise to share our professional wedding photos with you afterward! Once the reception starts, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like.
Most major carriers offer international day passes (usually around $10/day) that allow you to use your regular data plan in Punta Cana. However, the resort will have free high-speed Wi-Fi accessible throughout the property, so you can easily use WhatsApp, iMessage, and FaceTime without extra charges while on-site.
We recommend sticking to bottled water during your stay. The resort will provide plenty of complimentary bottled water in your room and at all the bars and restaurants. The ice made at the resort is also perfectly safe, as it is made from purified water.
The resort has a minimum of a 3 night stay. We recommend flying in the day before the wedding and staying until Sunday.
