Sahuarita Lake
Right across the street from our house. We LOVE to go for walks and spend time at the lake.
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
One of Haley's favorite places to visit. A bit of a drive from Sahuarita/ Green Valley, but worth it. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952. It is SUCH a cool place to learn about the desert!
Tumerico
This is one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat. Their menu is mostly vegan and vegetarian, and they utilize many local ingredients. It is the top restaurant on Yelp as of 2/4! Guy Fieri approves
MSA Annex
The shops and eateries at the MSA Annex are housed beautifully inside modified shipping containers. The containers, designed by Tucson Architect Paul Weiner, are architecturally compelling and modern in Nature. The juxtaposition of the Spanish Colonial style Mercado San Agustin and new modern Annex together create a dynamic experience as seen in great cities around the world.
Titan Missile Museum
This is actually located in Green Valley/Sahuarita very close to where Haley and Brayden live! The last of the 54 Titan II missile sites that were on alert across the United States from 1963 to 1987.
Reid Park Zoo
A cute little Zoo with cute little elephants
Winterhaven Festival of Lights
Tour the Christmas Lights! Honestly really impressive
Tucson Botanical Gardens
We love the botanical gardens, and their winter light displays are spectacular!
Pima Air & Space Museum
This is a HUGE and incredible museum!
Madera Canyon
Located just south of Sahuarita and super close to our home. A really great place for a hike!
Old Tucson
A really cool theme park/ movie set. There are always fun seasonal events!
San Xavier del Bac Mission
Only a 10 minute drive from our place and absolutely stunning to see
Saguaro National Park
A bit of a drive from us but worth it for our nature lovers
Southern Arizona Transportation Museum
This super cute museum is FREE and in downtown Tucson
Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium
Located at the University of Arizona and pretty cool
Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch
Look. Hang out with donkeys, goats, deer, ostriches, tortoises, bunnies, ducks, lorikeets, sting rays, etc. Pretty lit
Sonoita
This is literally a town filled with wineries. 10/10. Roughly 30 minute drive from Sahuarita /Green Valley
Tombstone
Historic town with tons of attractions and great food. Definitely worth the day trip!

This is a bit of a drive TBH but it is really fascinating and in a really beautiful area!
