We're getting married! Nos Casamos!

We met back in 7th grade, when one of us (him) decided his full-time job was to bug the other (her) and make endless jokes at her expense. And the other one (her) totally *pretended* to be annoyed (key word: pretended). Somewhere between all the teasing and laughter, an unexpected friendship formed, and before we knew it, that friendship turned into something more. At the end of 8th grade, after our trip to Knott’s Berry Farm for our promotion on May 24, 2013, he finally asked her out, and the rest is history. From that moment on, we’ve been side by side through all of high school and beyond, basically growing up together. We’ve always been drawn to each other, through his intelligence, his sense of humor, and his ability to make her laugh no matter what. We connected through our similar upbringings and, very importantly, our shared love of food… especially Mexican food. These days, we’re proud pug parents and cat parents, and still just as inseparable as ever. Most of you already know our story, but we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter together, and with all of you on our special day. --- Nos conocimos en el séptimo grado, cuando uno de nosotros (él) decidió que su trabajo de tiempo completo era molestar a la otra (ella) y hacerle bromas sin parar. Y la otra (ella), por supuesto, *fingía* que le molestaba (la palabra clave: fingía). Entre tantas risas y bromas, nació una amistad inesperada que poco a poco se convirtió en algo más. Al final de octavo grado, después de nuestro paseo a Knott’s Berry Farm para nuestra promoción el 24 de mayo de 2013, finalmente le pidió que fuera su novia, y el resto es historia. Desde ese momento, hemos estado juntos durante toda la preparatoria y más allá, prácticamente creciendo juntos. Siempre hemos sido muy unidos, por su inteligencia, su sentido del humor y su forma de hacerla reír pase lo que pase. También nos conectó el hecho de haber crecido de manera similar y, muy importante, nuestro amor por la comida… especialmente la comida mexicana. Hoy en día, somos orgullosos papás de pugs y gatos, y seguimos siendo inseparables. Muchos de ustedes ya conocen nuestra historia, pero estamos muy emocionados de celebrar este nuevo capítulo juntos, y con todos ustedes en nuestro día especial.
