Jenna and Brax were brought together through the power of Cupid. Cupid also plays the role of Tanner Wood, who is Jenna's brother and Brax's longtime friend since high school. Out of the blue on a random October night of 2022, Brax asked Tanner how his family was doing. Tanner mentioned that Jenna had recently returned to Lubbock from Corpus Christi after graduating nursing school. This peaked Brax's interest and he soon found himself reaching out and offering to show her around town, even though Jenna's from Lubbock! Their first date landed at Orlando's because of their shared love for Italian cuisine. Because of the instant connection, Jenna and Brax went from being acquaintances to friends, and soon, something much more. It was the perfect beginning to their love story, one that they are now excited to continue as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together.

When Brax decided he was ready to pop the question to Jenna, he booked a surprise trip to Estes Park, Colorado. They stayed in the famous Stanley Hotel that was featured in the movie "The Shining" and was on both of their bucket lists. While photographing the outside of the hotel, Brax got down on one knee and asked Jenna to marry him.
