Amelia Island is about a 30-minute drive from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). Jacksonville offers both Uber And Lyft, although the wait times may be a bit longer than we are used to in the Northeast. Another option is to schedule a pick-up with Amelia Island's Car Service (Daniel Transportation: 904-261-5824) for a similar cost to an Uber or Lyft. You are also able to rent a car and park at the Ritz for a fee.
Although we love your children, our ceremony will be limited to those in the wedding party and reception will be an adults-only event. We are looking into babysitter options, if this is something of interest please reach out to Harley or Alex directly. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm so we ask that our guests arrive early to take their seats.
Friday's Welcome Drinks will take place outdoors and we encourage Festive Attire (think bold, bright colors). Our Wedding is Black Tie Optional. **The Welcome Drinks & Wedding Ceremony will take place outside on firm but grassy terrain (weather-permitting)!
Downtown is about 3 miles from the Ritz-Carlton and offers a variety of bars, restaurants, shops, and sites. If you are staying at the Ritz, please inquire with the hotel receptionist and they can arrange transportation for you!
