The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. The event is outdoors with a paved covered area for the reception, so please keep that in mind for shoes. You'll likely feel underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo. If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask. Your prescence is what matters to us. No need to shop for anything new!
The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Please arrive between 4:45pm and 5:00pm to get settled and take a seat.
If not bringing your little ones will prevent you from coming, they are more than welcome. Please let us know ahead of time so we can accomodate seating.
Yes! There is plenty of parking at Wingate Place.
No, transportation will not be provided. If needed, you’re welcome to leave your car at the venue overnight and take an Uber or taxi. Please keep this in mind and drink responsibly, or assign a designated driver.
The venue is located between Downtown Charleston and Kiawah Island. We recommend a hotel in the Charleston area for conveniece and cost.
Dinner will be buffet style. We are still finalizing menu specifics - Stay tuned! (Yes, there will be an open bar.)
