We're getting married

TIME: 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28 LOCATION: Huber's Winery, 19816 Hubers Road, Borden, IN Once on the winery's property, follow signs for Plantation Hall. When you park, the ceremony will be held outside Plantation Hall to the right. A reception, which includes dinner, will be inside the hall following the ceremony.

We were in middle school. Daniel's grandpa lived in Bozeman, Montana, next to Shannon's grandparents. They've been neighbors for years and wanted to get their grandkids together. Daniel and Shannon were about the same age and Candace and Shelby weren't too far off either. The four of us played badminton and volleyball, which was a blast! Daniel and Shannon "talked" as middle schoolers. Or at least as much as we could living a state apart through AOL or Yahoo messenger. We added each other on Facebook at some point and wished each other the occasional "happy birthday." When Shannon moved to Louisville for work, in the back of her mind - she remembered he lived here, but she worked odd shifts so it didn't cross Shannon's mind to say hello or get together. But one day she shared an article on Facebook and he commented. We ended up grabbing drinks at Hilltop Tavern. And it turned into drinks another night. And then coffee. Now we share a house, a cat and a dog. So why not share our lives?
