Meghan and Nicholas met as freshmen in the Whitworth Choir and saw each other every day in rehearsal, but it wasn’t until later that the story got spicy. Another thing you should know is that they both love literature and spent several English classes together over the next four years. After graduation Meghan went on an adventure to New Zealand; Nicholas stayed local in Spokane. Later, after Meghan returned from her trip, the two started spending more time together during the pandemic as part of a mutual “bubble” of friends, and Nicholas slowly started to realize that he liked Meghan as more than just a friend. So, one day he plucked up his courage and walked into Rockwood Bakery (where Meghan was working at the time) and asked her on a date. She was surprised but also, according to Nicholas, “thankfully said yes!” They went on a first date a few days later to Watts 1903. A few weeks later, the two went snowshoeing at Mt. Spokane and returned to Meghan’s house afterwards. Meghan was playing her guitar when she looked up at Nicholas and asked, “So, are you my boyfriend?” And the rest is history. They are so excited to celebrate with you on their special day!
