While discussing our ideal wedding plans we've decided that what would make us happiest is to take quality time off of work and travel together. Our plan is to do official paperwork together in September and forego a traditional ceremony/reception. Instead, we'd like to give our families opportunities in June and later in the year to see each other with smaller scale celebrations. We are very excited to see members of our families but understand if travel and timing do not work out!

Online through a friend. Then Victoria had a work trip in near Charlotte, and I offered to meet her for dinner.

I definitely have the lengthier retelling of the story. We met online in 2021 through a mutual friend. At the time Nick lived in NC a few hours away from my boss and I volunteered for a work trip that spring where we met for dinner. A few weeks later he flew out to help me pack my apartment and again two weeks later to unpack. I thought he was crazy because our first few dates were going to Ikea and putting furniture together in a tiny studio apartment. He offered to move to Minnesota in summer of 2022 which is great because the flight attendants were starting to recognize us from our constant trips.
