Jason & Rebecca

On August 21, 2021, Jason James Ochoa did the one thing that Rebecca Brantome will never forget. He proposed at the exact spot that Jason and Rebecca's first date, more than five years prior, concluded at the Santa Cruz Lighthouse. 

At the young age of 17 and 19 Jason and Rebecca went on their very first date to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. They spent the entire day playing arcade games, riding on roller coasters, and tasting sugary treats from the vendors. Jason and Rebecca spent the entire day from 10 in the morning past sunset never wanting the day to end. 

Near the conclusion of their date, they went for a beach walk along the water to the lighthouse as the sun set on the horizon. On this walk they talked about their dreams, future aspirations, and goals. In this very moment they both started to fall in love. 

Bringing this beautiful story of love full circle, Jason proposed, sharing with her new promises that he hopes they can continue to share together.
