Michael and Lindsey met how most people meet nowadays....online, or Tinder, to be more specific. While Lindsey wishes she could say she swiped on Michael's profile...it was her mother who ultimately picked him out for her (thanks Mom!). They talked for awhile (try 6 months...) and then they finally had their first date, which was a sunset picnic on the beach. Michael came dressed in basketball shorts, Cozumel t-shirt, and tennis shoes. And Lindsey wore what you'd think most people would wear on a beach date. Despite them both being incredibly nervous, the date was a hit and they would go on a few more before deciding to make it official. The two would then navigate long distance, deployments, and everything in between for 4 long years until finally being able to call the same city home. It was then that Michael decided to propose and now we are all here!
Michael and Lindsey got legally married in a small, private courthouse ceremony on September 9, 2025. They decided to elope for financial savings when they were purchasing their first home together. They are both still looking forward to exchanging vows and partying the night away on December 5, 2026 with all their loved ones in attendance.
