Things To Do

We're so excited for you to spend time in our city. As you get ready to head from sea level to the Mile-High City, just a quick reminder to drink lots of water! Denver's higher elevation can dehydrate you faster, so staying hydrated before and during your trip is super important. We want you to feel great for all the festivities! Please see below for some Denver highlights, or contact us for personalized recommendations.

River North Art District ("RiNo")

Denver, CO

The best neighborhood to walk around! Home to a plethora of shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries, and street art.

Union Station

Denver, CO

Classic eateries, bars, and shops in a stately train station from 1881. Great area to walk around - would recommend walking over to McGregor Square from here!

Odell Brewing Sloan's Lake Brewhouse & Pizzeria

1625 Perry Street, Denver, CO 80204

A great spot in our neighborhood for lunch and a walk around the lake!

Don's Club Tavern

723 East 6th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203

Best dive bar in Denver - short drive from the Halcyon.

New Terrain Brewing Company

16401 Table Mountain Parkway, Golden, CO 80403

Get a little closer to the mountains at our favorite spot in Golden.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465

Check out the amphitheater and the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, free and open to the public in the morning. The amphitheater may close early for an event, but you can walk or hike the surrounding trails at any time. The 1.4 mile Trading Post Trail begins and ends at the Trading Post and travels through spectacular rock formations, valleys, and a meadow. Some of the terrain is rough and the majority of the trail is less than 30 inches wide. The Red Rocks Trail starts at the park’s lower north lot as a hiker-only trail and connects to the multi-use Red Rocks and Dakota Ridge trails in Jefferson County’s Matthews/Winters Park, creating a great 6 mile loop.

Safta

3330 Brighton Boulevard, Denver, CO 80216

Our favorite restaurant in Denver. Great for brunch and dinner! It would be worth staying an extra night just for Safta.

Zaidy's Deli & Bakery

600 South Holly Street, Denver, CO 80246

Great Jewish deli near Cherry Creek!

Sam's No. 3

1500 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80202

Classic dinner downtown Denver, previously featured in Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives! One of Rob Skirboll's favorites. Warning: Burritos are the size of your head.

Larimer Square

1430 Larimer Street, Denver, CO

Cute pedestrian only block in downtown Denver!

Hillstone

303 Josephine Street, Denver, CO 80206

Great upscale restaurant around the corner from the Halcyon

For all the days along the way
