We've found the cheapest way to get to Utah from Texas is flying into Las Vegas, then getting a rental car and driving from Las Vegas to Cedar City. The drive is 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic. But if you don't want to drive as far, there is an airport in St. George, 1 hour away, and Cedar City, about 10 minutes from the venue. There are hotels/motels in Cedar City, as well as Airbnb's. The hotel I have heard good things about is Courtyard Cedar City. We have not made reservations at any hotels to make sure that everyone can pick where they stay. If no options are to your liking in Cedar City, Hurricane (45 minutes away) and St. George (1 hour away) have many more options. I will say, that no matter how you travel here, you will need a rental vehicle to get around in. Public transportation and lift services are non-existent in Cedar City.
