Tybee Island Beach
Sydney's childhood beach! The Last Song and Baywatch were filmed on the pier (and many more). Grab some snow crab balls from Stingray's or back bay seafood on the dock at AJ's. Chicken fingers from Spanky's are always a go-to and enjoy a laid-back beach bum community.
Fort Pulaski National Monument
Kyle's "Must See" stop on your trip - "cool civil war fort with lots of things to read". A short drive from downtown on the way out to Tybee Beach.

Brochu's Family Tradition
Best meal you will ever have in your life... and we feel confident saying this after eating our way through Chicago. Chef Andrew Brochu was Head Chef for the Alinea Group in Chicago for many years until he moved to his wife's hometown of Savannah during Covid. He decided to open a restaurant making their favorite foods - fried chicken and oysters. Make a reservation but they do take walk-ins. Worth the wait and the hype. Take a walk around The Starland District while you are down there. Home to Savannah's art scene.

Trendy breakfast spot, known for their Lavender Mocha Latte (both beautiful and delicious). There's two locations - one on bull street and one in the middle of Forsyth Park near the fountain. Neither take reservations so plan accordingly.
Savannah Coffee Roasters
Venture through the less crowded, more beautiful squares of historic downtown on the way to Sydney's favorite coffee shop. It looks much farther away on the map than it actually is. Perfect stop on a morning walk!
Maple Street Biscuit Company
If you don't live in the south, pop in here for breakfast. Line is usually out the door on the weekends!
