How We Met

1.5.2015

It was on this day, that Branson & Jessica embarked on a new adventure at Zenefits, with goals of expanding their careers and taking over the world. Some might say first impressions could have gone better, as Branson, young and brash, accidentally slighted Jessica’s Alma Mater when going through group introductions. Jessica, while presumably deeply infatuated, took the opportunity to re-name Branson, ‘Crossfit’, and made fun of him at every given opportunity. The tension in the air was palpable. Was it out of hate? rivalry? Or was it eternal love? Only time would tell…

Our Proposal Story

6.22.19

It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning in Colorado when Branson and Jess decided to head up to the mountains to their favorite escape at Antero Reservoir. The sun was complimented by a light breeze when they arrived to it’s shores and began unloading their cargo, establishing basecamp under the eastern slopes. Everywhere they turned, they were surrounded by towering, green mountain ridges, some snowcapped at their peaks despite spring rolling into summer. It appeared as if the day couldn't get any better when dark clouds starting billowing over the distant mountain tops. Within minutes, the wind started picking up and nearby on-goers began packing up their items. As the wall of rain made a sprint towards their position, Jessica started putting drinks back in the cooler and fixed her eyes on their belongings, strategizing the fastest way to pack up and depart. Branson had other plans in mind. With the resolve of a commander, Branson pulled Jess in and reassured her that they would not only brave the storm til the end, but do it with a smile. They giggled and held each other close as the wind racked them back and forth, and the rain plummeted down upon their hooded jackets. Within a matter of 20 minutes, the storm had made its departure just as quickly as it had arrived, leaving behind a serene landscape, void of anyone else. Branson stood up, shaking himself off, and made his way down to the lake's edge. Jessica was soon to follow as the lake's waves calmed and the clouds swirled above them. They turned to face each other, and Branson got down on his knee.
