Question

COVID 19 Do I need to test before travelling?

Answer

Although a test is not mandatory to enter Dominican Republic, you may randomly be chosen to get tested at the airport upon arrival. This being said, we'd like to remind everyone that we ARE in the middle of a pandemic and would assume everyone will use their best judgement in regards to testing, social distancing and overall consideration of all other guests; it goes without saying that although we would absolutely LOVE for you to attend our wedding, we would prefer you didn't if you do not feel well or believe you may have Coronavirus.

Question

Do I have to book with the travel agent? / ¿Tengo que reservar con el agente de viajes?

Answer

To be considered part of the wedding group and all activities, you must book through our travel agent. If you happen to find a lower price than what is being offered through our travel agent, please reach out to us on your findings.

Question

Can I bring a guest to the wedding? / ¿Puedo traer un invitado a la boda?

Answer

Although we would like to invite everyone, the space will be limited therefore not everyone is allotted a +1. If you feel we have missed someone, please reach out to the Bride and Groom. Aunque nos gustaría invitar a todos, el espacio será limitado, por lo tanto, no a todos se les asigna invitados extra.

Question

Are children invited to the reception? / ¿Estan invitados los menos a la reception?

Answer

We love kids just as much as you do but we ultimately want our guests to let loose and have fun without worrying about little eyes and ears. We will be arranging for babysitters at the resort to give adults a well deserved night off. Amamos a los niños tanto como a ti, pero queremos que nuestros invitados se relajen y se diviertan sin preocuparse por los ojitos y oiditos de los pequeños. Organizaremos niñeras en el resort para que los adultos tengan una merecida noche libre.

Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! A passport book is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and the D.R. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. Check this site for more passport info: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html

Question

Will I need to be tested before departing DR?

Answer

Yes. The resort will provide COVID-19 viral antigen testing on-property at no cost to our guests and test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. Guests should contact the concierge upon arrival to schedule departure testing.

Question

What if I test positive?

Answer

If you test positive, which then prevents departure, the cost of quarantine at the property for confirmed guest plus one travel companion sharing the same room will be covered by the resort for up to 14 days, commencing on your scheduled departure date.

For all the days along the way
