Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please refer to each event's specific dress code, which can be found on the "Weekend Events" page. In general, we will be on the water, so blues and summer tones are welcome!

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be held at Breakwater Pavilion, a covered, outside venue on the water. Cocktail Hour will be on the Manor Lawn, an uncovered, outside venue. The reception will be in the Chesapeake Ballroom, an inside venue.

Can we use the amenities at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay?

Answer

Yes, please do! The resort's expansive property has a golf course, spa, marina, walking trails, multiple pools, rentals like kayaks and standup paddle boards and more. We hope you enjoy our mini-destination weekend and all that the Eastern shore can offer!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Formal invitations will include the name of each invited guest. No additional guests can be accommodated. Thank you for understanding!

Can we bring our children to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we love your children, we cannot host any additional children at our wedding events aside from those in the wedding party. Thank you for understanding and making accommodations to celebrate with us!

Can we bring our dogs for the weekend?

Answer

Although the resort is dog friendly, we kindly ask for you to leave your dogs at home!
