Teresa is someone I was acquainted with in middle school. I remember talking to her on the bus. I ran into her in a winter pre-calculus class in college and we were on similar routes and we both needed help so we became study buddies. If it weren't for her I would not have made it through those classes. She encouraged me to join the stem program and we went to many events for school together. She was also there for me during a very hard transition in my life. She was ready to listen to my struggles with my family. She always had a feisty comment and she lightened the mood a ton. I was always happy to hear about some of the struggles she had faced with her own family. I'm appreciative for all the relaxing getaways to glen ivy and now just meeting up for dinner means a lot to me.

Leo is like my brother. he lived with me for a while and we became really close. We play Video Games whenever we can and he helped me get my current job at his work when I was really struggling.

This girl Hated my freshman year. She didn't like the girl who was invading her friend circle. We had 1st period together freshman year. She came to school so upset one day that she got a bloody nose. I took her to the bathroom and tried my best to console her. This was the turning point. We started getting very close we both loved anime and she took me to anime expo multiple times. We bonded as I helped her get through math and she helped me stay focussed in avid. She helped me in some of the hardest points of my life. When my mom and jay split up and we needed somewhere to live she helped us out. She helped me get a job and we just loved to relax and watch anime. She also started my addiction to sushi. We may not talk all the time but I consider her my life long friend.

When Steven and I met in middle school we hated each other for a reason I can't even remember. Eventually, we became friends because we both loved video games. Since he lived close by he came over a lot and we became great friends. Our friendship really helped me through my grandfathers passing.

This girl is a brat. She is 2 weeks older than me and we have been together most of our lives. She is the only reason I had friends in middle school. We might as well be sisters. But we settle for being cousins and we are a trio with Alexis. There would be too many stories to share about our adventures.

I am not sure when Darius and I started being friends. we always hung out with the same people and now he is one of my best friends. He's the guy I can binge watch Dragon ball z with, go see movies and have in-depth conversations about it with. And he is someone who is actual competition in super smash bros.

Another cousin who was born the same year as me only a month later. She is the most independent of us and I'm so proud of her for her service in the navy as well as her being a great first-time mom to Mason. Alexis is definitely the most adventurous and she always got me out of my comfort zone.

My baby sister who is definitely the culmination of all of our bad traits. Shes got so much sass, definitely a drama queen, spoiled, too smart, too cautious but she is also so loving and caring for others. She is always ready to play, she loves nature and she is so smart. I love watching her grow.

My uncle Jim is not blood but he has babysat me since I was born, he used to come over to our house every Sunday and he would teach us so much. he taught me how to bake, and make perfumes, soaps even lip balm, he would bring over stories he wrote with our names and have us read our parts out loud. he taught me a love for reading and learning. My uncle Jim has always been there and now that I am getting married i wanted to have him included in a special way. --Brandy
