We have received an RSVP extension from our caterer due to uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, but we greatly appreciate knowing your plans as soon as possible and no later than the end of June.
No worries! Seriously, if you want to be there, that's what matters to us. We know that the majority of our guests are out of state, whether home is Virginia, Nebraska, or elsewhere. If you're unable to make the trip, we totally understand, and we actually have back up plans! For our Virginians, we are planning a "post matrimony celebration" (we can't think of a better name for this) that will be local to Richmond, most likely in August. While it won't be as formal as the wedding, it will give us the opportunity to celebrate all over again, hopefully this time with you as well! Meanwhile, for our friends who are scattered across the country, this just means we'll be making plans sometime soon for a visit to your town! No matter what, if you're on the fence due to cost or other arrangements, please reach out to us to talk. We're happy to help however we can to see you at our wedding.
Unfortunately, we are asking that kids and pets stay home for the ceremony and reception. While we love your little ones, we hope to keep the main events intimate, adults-only celebrations. We know this may make out of state travel more difficult to arrange for the weekend, so please communicate with us on how we can help plan.
Yes! We're planning to spend as much time with our family and friends for as long as possible that weekend. If you will be able to stay in the area for longer than just the wedding, please be sure to let us know, and stay posted on the "schedule" part of our website for updates on our plans!
We are actually registered through this website! If you want to check out what we hope will help build our home, check out the registry tab above.
