Aloha comfortable. Think island‑nice, relaxed, and celebration‑ready. Not black‑tie. Not boro boros. Not board shorts. If you’d wear it to a great family gathering where photos will definitely be taken — you’re right on track.
Yes — and we hope you do. We will not have a professional photographer. Instead, we’re creating a live photo‑sharing experience where guests can capture and share moments throughout the night. We chose to skip a photographer so we could stay fully present and let the night live through the eyes of the people we love. Simple instructions will be shared at the reception on how to participate.
Absolutely. We love kids. So much that there will be a bounce house at the reception. Yes, really. Yes, it’s intentional. Yes, we’re excited.
Yes. The bounce house will be properly supervised, and we ask that everyone — kids and adults alike — follow the attendant’s instructions so everyone stays safe and happy. (We promise there will still be plenty of fun for the grown‑ups.)
Let’s just say… the bounce house has rules, and we trust you to respect them 😄 (Please follow the attendant’s guidance so nobody ends the night icing their pride.)
No need — we will be providing alcohol. For everyone’s sake (and per venue rules), outside alcohol is not permitted, so please leave any extras at home and enjoy what’s being served. (Hydration and good decisions are still strongly encouraged.)
Gratuities for the bartender are not included in our contract. Guests are welcome to tip directly as a way to share mahalo and hoʻomaikaʻi for their service. Mahalo nui loa, and we can’t wait to celebrate together. 🥂
This one matters to us. We want everyone to celebrate fully and get home safely. Please plan your ride home ahead of time — whether that means a designated driver, rideshare, or another safe option. If at any point someone is too inebriated to drive, we will make sure they get home safely. That may mean we help arrange a ride, or we drive you ourselves. No one will be judged, rushed, or embarrassed — safety comes first. Before the night ends, please take a moment to find your ride or your designated driver. We’d rather pause the party for a minute than worry about someone we love. Thank you for taking care of yourselves and each other. That’s how we do this.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the building. Additionally, spitting tobacco is not allowed anywhere on the property. Thank you for helping us keep the space clean and welcoming for everyone.
Both! We’ll be using indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the celebration, so you’ll get a little of everything. We recommend dressing comfortably and being prepared to move between spaces during the event.
Yes — music and celebration are very much part of the plan. Volume will stay within venue guidelines so we can all keep having a good time.
Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park – Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Memorial Hall Honolulu, Hawaiʻi
The park is beautiful — and yes, it can be a little tricky to find the first time. Landmark cues below will help you know you’re in the right place. 🚗 From Waikiki Take H-1 West toward Airport / Pearl City. Exit onto HI-92 West / N Nimitz Highway toward the airport. Continue to Ahua Street and make a legal U-turn. (This is intentional and expected.) Heading back the opposite direction on Nimitz, watch for the Disabled American Veterans Sign- the park entrance comes up on the right. The entrance shows up quickly after the U-turn. Turn right into the park. Once inside, follow the internal road toward the large memorial grounds, then turn left to reach Weinberg Hall and parking. Landmark tip: If you see the lagoon, memorial structures, and wide open park space — you’re exactly where you should be. 🚗 From Waianae Take Farrington Highway (HI-93) east and merge onto H-1 East toward Honolulu / Airport. Stay on H-1 East for about 15 miles. Take Exit 15 for HI-92 / Nimitz Highway toward Naval Base / Hickam AFB. Use the left lane to merge onto HI-92 East / N Nimitz Highway. Continue for about 2.3 miles, passing the airport and lagoon area. Watch for the Disabled American Veterans sign and turn right into the park shortly afterwards. Follow the internal road toward the memorial grounds, then turn left to reach Weinberg Hall and parking.
Free parking is available onsite inside Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park. Once you’re in the park, signage and other arriving guests will guide you the rest of the way.
As much as we love animals, pets are not permitted inside the facility (service animals excepted, as well as potty-trained raccoons).
Please do not contact the bride or groom on the day of the wedding. We promise — this is a gift to us 😄 We’ll designate a trusted point person (or two) and share that contact information here once finalized.
Come ready to celebrate, laugh, hug, and be present. This day is about love, family, chosen family, and joy — with a little island flair and a bounce house thrown in for good measure. We can’t wait to share it with you.
Aloha! If you have any questions at all about the wedding, the venue, what to bring, or anything else on your mind — we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to email us anytime at KeahiandBrandy@gmail.com. We promise to get back to you with aloha and as quickly as we can (unless we’re in full wedding-planning chaos mode, in which case we’ll still reply, just maybe with extra hearts 😄). Mahalo nui loa for being part of our day — we can’t wait to celebrate with you! With love, Brandy & Keahi 🌺💍
