Welcome Family and friends! We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding day with you.

We had decided that we were going on a weekend trip to Colorado for Valentine's Day. I was trying not to get my hopes up but in the back of my mind I was hopeful that after three years Joseph would propose. We drove 6 hours to get to our hotel, had a really delicious pizza for dinner, and went to bed. The next day, we saw on the news that there was going to be a snow storm and a wind-chill that was cold enough to give you frost bite after being outside for 10 minutes. We did not want to be driving home in a snow storm, so we decided that we would leave right away that afternoon. Thankfully, we had just reached the time of check out to get a refund for the hotel, but I was still crying like a baby because that small hope was gone. On our way home, we decided that we were going to go on a hike that Saturday at the Sandia Crest before the snow storm hit. The morning after we got home from our 6 hour drive back home from Colorado, we went up to the Crest. It was cloudy, snowy, and cold, but we went up to the top of the hill with our puppy Kimchi and looked over the railing. Joseph kept asking, "what did you find, Kimchi" as he followed me around. He would get on one knee, ask Kimchi, "what did you find," and then follow me around as I wandered away from him. I was thinking so hard about when and where it was going to happen (and IF it was going to happen) that I wasn't paying attention to what he was doing at all. Eventually, he said, "baby, look what Kimchi found." I looked down and realized that he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand. And of course, I said yes. You probably wouldn't be reading this on our wedding website if I hadn't :)
