Do I have to dress up or wear a mask?

Answer

It is a Masquerade! "Meglio tardi che mai" We prefer at least a mask escpecially during the Ceremony part. Dress up or costume is not mandatory, but encouraged so that you become part of our wedding and memories. Plus hey, it's unconventional. How many more opportunities like this? Think of all the awesome pictures and re-create 1700's Italy.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Of course silly, we will cover up to a certain amount for the night, then it will become a cash bar after.

Do I have to pay to park downtown?

Answer

The parking should be free. When you go, use the address for 419 E Ohio St Indianapolis since it will take you straight to the parking lot next to the building at 416 Wabash. It will be a paid parking lot, but is covered for the event up to 80 parking spaces. When you arrive, look for the big square two- story gray building with no windows.

What does the time line look like?

Answer

Try to arrive between 2:00pm to 2:30pm since the Ceremony will start at exactly 3:00pm. It should last about 30 minutes ( thank god not too long ). After the Ceremony, the reception will start about 4:30ish pm. That hour in between will be cocktail hour and entertainment.

Will there be food at the reception?

Um, yea! The catering with be from Buca di Beppo. This is an Italian themed wedding so guess what? Pasta it is Mama Mia! This will be like a family style and there will be both dishes with and without meat for people who have meatless requests along with salad and bread. Expect lasagna with meat and fettucine alfredo with out meat.

What are the themed colors?

Answer

The theme colors will be Peacock Teal Ivory and soft purple.

Is it true there is a costume contest?

Answer

Yep, you betcha. We will give out a cash prize to best Venetian Costume along with other door prizes and best dance moves on the floor prize.
