Maid of Honor
From our awkward middle school years to our awkward adult years Alyson has been my moral, emotional, and sometimes physical support for approximately 14 years. I can't imagine where- or who, I would be without her guidance and love. Al is one of my oldest and dearest friends, we are too far into our years of friendship to back out now (not that I have ever wanted to *wink*). I literally would not be able to plan a wedding, or truly even my day-to-day, without Alyson. As my right hand woman questions can be directed to her as she knows pretty much everything because I consult her for every decision.
Best Man
Matt and I met in high school and immediately became friends. We spent our teenage years bailing each other out trouble and working on what ever we could get out hands on. Somedays it was lawn mowers others it was an old farm truck or one of our various vehicles we owned over the years. No matter what the time of day if I needed something Matt was there. A few years back I was best man in Matt’s wedding and now he gets to return the favor.
Bridesmaid
Marissa and I met in kindergarten! She actually is the oldest friend I have and I am the luckiest girl alive because of it. I can't even imagine my wedding day without her in it. Marissa has see all of my ups and downs and has never left my side. As someone who has a difficult time with decisions, I also cannot imagine making wedding decisions without her help. Fun fact: Marissa is exactly one month older than me.
Groomsman
Alex and I met around 2011 through some mutual friends when I moved to Wolcott. We became friends immediately. Throughout the past several years he has been there to help with anything I needed. The projects at the house, the shop in Fair Haven, moving to Oswego, you name it Alex was there to help. Among my other friends I was always the responsible one. When I met Alex I could tell that was his role as well.
Bridesmaid
I only put Taylar's role as "bridesmaid" because "person who keeps me from terrible decor options, etc." was not a role title. Really, everyone should thank Taylar that my wedding isn't just different shades of glitter because if I had my way I would do it. On a serious note though Taylar is not just my sister-in-law but one of my best friends. I am so lucky that she is a part of my family and my life. I can't imagine celebrating Tanner and I's love without her by my side.
Groomsman
Ryan and I met around 2011 the same way I met Alex and Brad. Ryan has always been the smartass of the group. Ryan also happens to be Clarissa’s brother. Throughout the years we have had a lot of great laughs. The one I will always remember is taking Ryan with me to get his hair cut at the local barber. I knew going in that the barber would cut his hair however he felt fit and wouldn’t listen to what Ryan wanted. I watched as he gave him a buzz cut after Ryan asked to just have a small amount trimmed, then I took him back and dropped him off to Taylar.
Bridesmaid
Maly and I met in college when we joined the same sorority. I believe we connected over our love of sarcasm and dogs though, I can't remember. Now we connect over our love of The Office and being at home. She keeps me sane everyday and always lets me vent about stupid things. Maly tells the best stories and is constantly checking in on me. She makes me laugh uncontrollably, even through texts, so i always keep her around. She also has insider knowledge on wedding dresses and I really need that advice.
Groomsman
Zack and I met when we were babies. He was my next-door neighbor growing up. Throughout the years we could be found running around Sodus Point playing with toy guns or bow and arrows. Eventually Zack moved to Sodus when we were around 10. At that point playing with toys changed to riding four wheelers together. Zack was always there whenever I needed him, even through college and years later if I needed help with anything, he was just a phone call away.
Bridesmaid
When I was a little baby college freshman afraid of living so far from home I was placed with this eccentric Californian girl and man oh man am I glad I was. We lived together all 4 years of college and I cannot imagine spending all that time with anyone else. From yoga classes to educational classes, binge watching Tin Man on the futon to "two man" pub crawls (why did we do that?) we have truly had the best times together. Even though we are continents apart I know Steph would drop everything in her life to help me. My wedding day wouldn't be complete without her and can't wait to celebrate this new chapter with her by my side.
Groomsman
Brad and I met around 2011 at the same time I met Alex and Ryan. Throughout the years brad has been a great friend. No matter what project I called needing a hand for, when I asked, he has been there. The stories that can be told about the shenanigans that have taken place at Brad and Cara’s house are endless. Whether it be playing beer can baseball, listening to great music (even when Cara was like 8 months pregnant) or when we all got the bright idea to hook the shock collar up to the door knob the stories will never disappoint.
