Lancaster Central Market has been at the heart of local life since 1730, making it the oldest continuously operated public farmers’ market in America. With more than 65 local vendors, it offers the very best of Lancaster County including fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, flowers, and homemade specialties. Brandon and Taylor frequent the market on the weekends. Check out Mean Cup for the best coffee around or Callaloo for one of our favorite lunch spots!
If it's a Friday night, there is a high probability that we are grabbing dinner at The Fridge! Known for its delicious pizza and fully stocked beer fridge, this ideal combination makes it one of our favorite date spots. If you're in need of a Saturday lunch, they have a great happy hour selection from 12-2 pm. We recommend the pepperoni pizza and trying a new IPA!
Start your day with a fresh-baked bagel sandwich from Roundbreads, a beloved Lancaster spot. For a true local flavor, try a Lancaster classic—Lebanon Bologna—by ordering Taylor’s favorite, the Bolo & Egg. Brandon usually goes the classic route with a hearty Sausage, Egg & Cheese. Whatever you choose, you’ll be starting your morning off right!
For a delicious start to your wedding weekend morning, check out Shot & Bottle across from the Marriot. Their brunch menu is packed with some of our favorites, biscuits & gravy, egg breakfast bowls, and delicious cocktails like the bloody mary or fresh squeezed crush. It’s the perfect spot to fuel up before getting ready to celebrate.
In the warmer months, we enjoy wrapping up our weekend with a Sunday evening walk throughout downtown Lancaster. There’s one stop that always makes the walk a little bit sweeter: Splits & Giggles. A charming spot tucked into the heart of the city, Taylor loves the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Mint Chocolate Chip for Brandon.
Looking to get a sweat in before we tie the knot?! Tread House is the place for you! While we are proud members of the 5 AM workout class, we won't make you get up that early! That said, we do encourage you to sign up for a class and see what the hype is all about. Even better, your first class is free! See if you can find Brandon and Taylor on the polaroid wall!
The Exchange is a rooftop bar offering spectacular views of the city. With handcrafted cocktails and small plates, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a night out.
