FAQs

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Your invitation will include an RSVP card that will indicate the date you need to RSVP by. If you do not RSVP by the date indicated, we will assume that you have declined the invitation.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average September high in Red River is 68°F with an average low of 48°F. Be sure to come prepared with a jacket and warm clothes just in case. Once the sun goes down the temperature does tend to drop quite a bit.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Sunday Best. We want you to enjoy our day in what makes you feel most comfortable and confident. Jeans are welcome. Our ceremony and reception (including dancing) will be held outdoors so please wear comfortable shoes as well.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking will be located off the side of the road in the front and back of the the house.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the small size of our venue we have a limited guest list. Our wedding celebration is strictly RSVP only. Your invitation will indicate how many seats have been reserved in your honor.

Question

Altitude and Safety

Answer

Please be aware of the risks of dehydration, altitude sickness, and increased alcohol potency. Almost Heaven is 9177 feet above sea level. At this altitude, the lower quantities of water and oxygen in the air put people at a higher risk of dehydration, headaches, fatigue and other symptoms. Start hydrating before your trip and drink extra water throughout your stay. Of course we want everyone to have a great time, but also remember that alcohol feels twice as potent at high altitudes.
