When should I book my hotel room?

Answer

We recommend booking as soon as possible because we have a limited number of rooms reserved in our block. Once these rooms are filled, availability and rates at the hotel may vary.

If I would rather stay somewhere besides the Residence Inn, are there other hotels nearby?

Answer

Yes, there are a number of hotels within walking distance of St. James Cathedral. Some nearby options include The Holiday Inn Express Chicago Magnificent Mile, Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile, AC Hotel Chicago Downtown, The Gwen Michigan Avenue Chicago, and Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile.

Will shuttle service be provided between St. James Cathedral and Salvage One?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception. At the end of the evening, transportation will also be available from Salvage One back to the Residence Inn.

Answer

Celebrating with our family and friends is all we could ask for. Your love and support are more than enough, and we kindly request no gifts.

What is the suggested dress attire?

Answer

Creative cocktail attire is encouraged. Guests are invited to express their personal style when dressing up. Cocktail dresses, suits, and elevated outfits with artistic or refined touches are all welcome.

Is there an event planned for Friday evening?

Answer

We are finalizing plans for a casual welcome gathering in downtown Chicago on Friday evening. We hope it will provide an opportunity for guests to stop by for a drink, a light bite, and a chance to say hello.
