We met freshmen year at Milpitas High School, became friends for a couple of years, then started dating our junior year, January 4, 2012. We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary making 2022 a big year for us!
Every year, Brandon takes me to San Francisco to explore something new. He took me on the Hornblower for a lunch cruise, took me on my first trolley ride, brought me to see the painted ladies and the golden gate bridge and so much more. For my 25th birthday in 2020, he planned another SF trip but with a twist. He told me to wear sandals so I figured we were going to the beach. On the way there, we stopped at my favortie donut shop (that he introduced me to), Rolling Pin Donuts, and told me to put a blindfold afterwards. I didn’t think anything of it because Brandon loves to surprise me with even the littlest things that he knows makes me happy. We get out of the car and he’s leading me towards the beach; still blindfolded. I’m thinking he planned a beach picnic because at that time those were really popular. He’s asking me if I can guess which beach we were at and I immediately guessed Baker Beach because that’s the only beach I knew of and that’s where they brought the dogs before. He had me name our dogs so I said “Losi and Snow”, then I heard their crying and barking. He told me to open my eyes and I see my mom, my sister, his parents, his brothers, his sister, our 2 fur babies and one of our dancer’s moms with a camera. He went down on one knee and proposed. I was completely surprised, and of course I said yes!
