We first met February 3, 2012 through a couple we knew in High School. My friend Sierra called me one night saying her boyfriend at the time had a friend who she thought was a perfect match. I was extremely hesitate and uninterested however took a chance. Started the blind double date "mudding" in his big lifted truck, dinner at Friendly's, and finished the night at the movie theater. Our date was extremely fun and exciting however viewed us more as friends rather than boyfriend and girlfriend, but Brandon thought otherwise. After countless failed attempts to kiss me throughout the night, Brandon became discouraged but I threw him a fast one asking for his number. Brandon messaged me before I even entered the door of my friend's house, asking, "When can we hang out again?". That following weekend we went on another date and the weekend after that. There was hugging, kissing, and a lot of laughter but still not official, till one day I forcefully asked him, "Are we a couple or not because I'm not one of those types of girls?" Shocked and embarrassed, Brandon replied, "I was going to wait until Valentine's day but will you be my girlfriend?" which basically sums up our relationship to a T! Brandon with all the plans and me being impatient! Fast forward about 7 and half years later, we grew up together as best friends and soulmates accomplishing multiple goals. We purchased our first house in June 2018, adopted our kitten Putzie, surprised Brandon with German Shepard puppy for his birthday recently which he lovingly named Diesel, hosted multiple family parties, establishing successful careers, traveling when we can, and living the best of life!
November 22, 2018, Brandon and I were hosting our first Thanksgiving at our home with my family and his. It was a day full running errands, cleaning, and cooking! So when Brandon pulled me into the living room in front of our families I was completely caught off guard when he got down on one knee! A lot of happy tears, laughter, and hugs were shared that day. So now onto Wedding Planning!
We chose August 30, 2020 as our date because we wanted a fun, casual, Labor Day Weekend Wedding. We love the outdoors, music, being surrounded by friends and family so we wanted our Wedding to represent that! We'll be having a small intimate Ceremony, with Brandon and I, the Bridal Party, and our Parents at Borderland State Park were we'll be married by my God Mother/ Aunt, Jane King. Following with the Reception at my Parent's house in Middleboro, where everyone will celebrate our marriage with music, food, dancing, drinks, etc. We are really looking forward to it!
