What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

The easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue is simply to drive if you are staying off the venue grounds. If you are staying at the hotel connected to the venue you can simply walk from your room to the venue.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is readily available on the venue site.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held in doors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have not reserved blocks of rooms at any hotel, but we recommend staying at the hotel attached to the venue. That hotel is Carlsbad By the Sea Hotel.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

You may wear anything you'd like and come as you'd like. However, we would like it you could dress in dress formal or business casual attire for our wedding.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

While the weather in San Diego is generally known to be warm and sunny things such as rain and flooding do happen from time to time. February is still in the winter months so come accordingly prepared, and also don't forget to check the weather forecast before you pack your bags.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Our food selections will be buffet style. We have options for all types of diets and/or dietary restrictions. If you do have any dietary restrictions please let us know. There will be plenty of food to go around, so come hungry! We will also be having a late night menu of a taco bar for those that have the munchies toward the end of the evening from the dancing and drinking.

Will there be an open bar?

Probably one of the most important FAQs is this one. The answer is simple YES!!!! There will be an open bar for the duration of the reception up until 10:00pm. The last hour from 10:00pm to 11:00pm will be cash bar only. Come thirsty and drink up, it's a night to party!!

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

Our link to our wedding registry can be accessed via this site under "Registry" page. Our registry is not traditional as in needing or wanting items. Please donate to our wedding fund and us make magical memories for our honeymoon.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Instead of wedding gifts we cherish memories even more. We ask that in lieu of wedding gifts that you please donate to our honeymoon which can be found under the "Registry" page on our website.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Wedding photos are allowed to be taken during the wedding, as long as they are shared with the grooms to be :) at #brandonandrickytaylorwedding2024. We want to share all the memories and moments you experience at our wedding.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests start arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of the wedding ceremony which begins at 4:00pm. But you are welcome to arrive a little earlier as well.
