In the spring of 2021, fate brought Reece and Brandon together at Texas Wesleyan University. Originally, Reece was set to intern at TCU for strength and conditioning, but the university’s COVID-19 social distancing measures changed those plans. Fortunately, Reece secured an internship with the Texas Wesleyan football team instead. On January 21st at 6 am, Brandon, bursting with excitement and fueled by Red Bulls and pre-workout, ran into the weight room, ready to kick off his very successful spring season. Brandon, being his team's captain, noticed Reece taking attendance and went over for a fist bump to welcome her to the program.
