We met in our third year of high school and quickly became close friends. After having a great time together at senior-year prom in 2014, we knew there was potential for something more. However, this didn't amount to anything at the time, as we'd soon attend different universities and Noor would move to Dubai that summer. Despite the long distance and our busy college lifestyles, we stayed in touch for the next several years. By the turn of 2020, we had both graduated from university and were once again living in the same area. It was at this time that we decided to pursue something more serious than "just friends." Because life has a sense of humor, the orders for COVID lockdown came in just weeks after our first date in March. Our new relationship proved to be a source of comfort and happiness in those uncertain months, even as our "dates" were limited to chatting via webcam. Fortunately, time moved on, and it wasn't long until we were seeing each other's lovely faces in person again. As 2022 came around, it was clear that we wanted to start this life journey together ASAP. During a trip to Disneyland in June, at Snow White's Wishing Well (just a few paces east of Sleeping Beauty's Castle), Brandon proposed to Noor, and Noor said "Yes!" We are so excited to celebrate this next step of our lives with all of you in Alexandria, Egypt!
