Picture This: It’s the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Humanity has sequestered themselves in home with fuzzy pajamas and endless hours of Netflix and Chill. The restaurants are empty, the airports are desolate, but there are a brave few who must carry on….government contractors. An unlikely pair found themselves on a quarantine adventure in the heart of Naples, Italy. Their names? Brandon Molina and Nicole Chambless. Brandon and Nicole worked on the same IT Healthcare Project on the beloved “DaaS” team. Upon meeting, Nicole was ratted out by a fellow team member as having the best wine stash of the other quarantiners. Brandon (a beginner wine drinker at best) took this opportunity and ran with it. He asked to steal a bottle and Nicole graciously accepted but as a businesswoman at heart demanded interest and expected two bottles in return. Once the mandatory 2 week quarantine was over, Nicole and Brandon adventured around Naples and well we can guess how that spark grew. But this adventure was to be short lived. Both were meant to return to their respective cities (Charleston & Phoenix). Was it meant to just be an Italian fling? As crazy as it is, when you find the one, most obstacles are little puddles in the grand scheme of things. While on their flight from Paris to Atlanta, Nicole decided to bring Brandon directly home to her parents (who had no idea she was even dating someone). From there, Brandon decided to drive 2200+ miles in the course of 2 days to move to South Carolina to be with Nicole. A year and some change later, here they are. Still in love, still crazy as ever, and excited to share their adventure with all of you.
