Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

No! Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the same location at Bridle Oaks at 1250 E Taylor Rd, DeLand, FL 32724.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation indicates a plus one, you may bring a date! If you have any questions please contact Brandon or I.

What do I wear?

Answer

Attire: Formal wear cocktail attire please. Light spring colors encouraged. No casual clothing! Shoes: Ladies, the ceremony for this event will be held outside in the grass so I strongly encourage you to wear block heels or any kind of thicker heeled shoes so that you will not sink into the grass.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! Children are always welcome. However, due to limited capacity at the venue, we encourage you to find other arrangements for them if possible.

Where do we park?

Answer

There is parking at the front of the venue when you first enter through the gate. Carpooling is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED due to the limited parking at the event venue!

Is this an "unplugged" wedding?

Answer

No, but please keep phones out of the isle during the ceremony so the photographer can take nice photos without phones in them.

Will there be an area for young children to rest/have diaper changes if needed?

Answer

Yes! We have a rented an onsite cottage that will be perfect for if a child needs to nap in peace or have a diaper change.

Will the wedding be indoors?

Answer

Yes and no. The ceremony will be entirely outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be held in an open air barn.

Is there a hotel block for rooms?

Answer

No, you must make your own hotel arrangements.

What is the weather like?

Answer

April weather in Deland, FL ranges anywhere from 64-80 degrees. On the chance that it will be a chilly evening we will have the firepit going onsite as well to stay warm and toasty.
