On April 29th, 2018 Brandon and Molly were both enjoying the Sum41 reunion tour at the Van Buren in downtown Phoenix. Their paths didn't cross during the show, however after the show in the food line, Molly and Brandon bumped into each other as Brandon was cutting in front of her to find his friends. Molly, who hates a cutter, was initially irritated but soon after talking with him realized Brandon was only cutting to reach his friends. They chatted some more and eventually sat down together for a late night snack and night cap. They exchanged numbers and parted ways. Brandon knew he met someone special after that one brief night, and didn't hesitate to ask her on a true first date and she, after maybe a little hesitation, said yes! This led to many more exciting dates and plenty of concerts!

Brandon and Molly both have a love for travel so when a milestone birthday came up for Molly (the big 3-0!), Brandon thought this was the perfect opportunity to give Molly an unforgettable surprise trip! Molly was told she’d find out where they’re going when she got to the airport. However, she had no idea that the location was only one of the surprises on this trip! All of Brandon and Molly’s friends were in-the-know and had been keeping the secrets for months. Then one fateful night, just a few weeks before her birthday, things changed. At their friends’ Halloween party, later in the night, conversations were flowing, and word accidentally got out that their trip was going to be to the Maldives! Although one of the secrets were spilt, it was for the best, as Molly was now able to plan her wardrobe and not trust that Brandon would pick out the right attire! (He probably wouldn’t have!) Not all was lost for Brandon as he still knew this dream location would be where he proposes to Molly, and he felt she was still none the wiser. Fast forward a few weeks. The day had come. Brandon and Molly had been soaking up the sun and enjoying a magical island vacation. Molly was wondering if there was the chance he would also propose, considering the romantic gesture the trip was. On November 23rd, Brandon setup a beachfront private sunset dinner. Was this the time?! Molly took a deep glance at his pockets before heading to dinner wondering if there was a ring inside, but there was no sign of a box. At dinner, Brandon asked the server to take a picture of them as the sun was setting. Brandon and Molly stood up and found the perfect shot. Brandon had prepped the server and as he handed his phone over for the picture the server started recording instead. Once they were ready for the picture Brandon got down on one knee and proposed and Molly overwhelmingly said Yes!
