Welcome to our life!

Matthew and I had our first date and really met for the first time on New Years Day, at the Carolina Place Mall. I was so nervous and really didn't know what to expect. We both were shy and awkward but both had a good time. I am happy that we have made it this far and I am so happy that I have him in my life. We both are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

So being two working adults its hard at times to get the dates off at the same time. So it had been out running tradition to celebrate Valentine’s Day on the 12 as that is usually when we have the day off together, and 4 years of V-day dates have been the same!! For our first V-day I got Matthew this GIANT stuffed dog (which he still has, he has been smushed with love).

We were brave!! We took our first trip together for my birthday to the beach. Sounds nice right!! Well it was, minus the snow we had dumped on us just the day before leaving.. yeah.. snow in mid March, then when we get to the beach it is raining almost the entire time. But we had a great time.
