Madeline and Brandon both experienced their adolescence in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Even though they went to the same middle and high school, they never had a class together and did not officially meet until the end of their senior year in 2014. They finally met when one of their mutual friends started bringing Brandon to gatherings with Madeline’s group of friends. After some time, they developed crushes on each other. Because they were both too awkward, they never pursued one another and went separate directions at different colleges. Luckily, they occasionally got together whenever their group of mutual friends would plan events during holiday breaks. Of course, the awkwardness between the two continued. Luckily, a few of their best friends mediated for the two and told each of them to stop being immature and just tell one another how they felt. With the help of their friends, they both finally got the courage to approach one another about their feelings for each other. All was well, however, Brandon’s college was 4 hours away from Madeline’s. The long distance was definitely hard, but only because of how much they missed each other when they were apart. As you can see though, their love has only grown over these 8 years and now here they are, excitedly planning the rest of their lives together.
