We're Getting Married!!

We met at work briefly and didn’t think much of it. Then our friends who we worked with would hang out on the weekends. We met a few times outside of work, again really not thinking much. I actually thought to myself, "he's chatty Kathy". We continued to hang out with our friends on and off through out summer until we would both go our separate ways to college. Him attending Grand Canyon University and myself going to The University of Arizona, at-least so we thought. Through out our freshman year he would ask me to hang out when Id be home to visit, however made it very clear these were not "dates" just friends hang out.

For my graduation gift, Brandon surprised me with a trip to San Francisco. (I've always wanted to go to wine country). I was thrilled and so excited to be recently graduated, celebrate passing my boards, and getting a new job as a Physician Associate. Brandon had planned a wine tour that would take us to both Sonoma and Napa for wine tasting along with a few other stops in SF. Our first stop was at the golden gate of course however, was so foggy nearly impossible to see. Our next stop was at a boat house village that was a very popular hang out in the 70s, we learned. Next we made our way to wine country. We got all settled in to the first winery, and we were getting ready for our first tasting, when Brandon pulled me to side. Our tour guy asked if we had anything special to celebrate, looking some what confused I turned to look over to Brandon and there he was down on one knee. I was in complete shock, and speechless. I of course said "YES", and we were engaged and enjoyed all the wine as Fiancés. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Gilbert, AZ
