Our first conversation took place on a 12 hour flight home from Barcelona, Spain. We had both just finished serving LDS Missions, and by chance ended up sitting near each other on the plane. We talked for hours about some of our goals and plans upon returning home after 18 months and 2 years abroad. At the airport we parted ways, with no real plans to reconnect as Lexie moved to Arizona to start her Master's program and I started my studies at BYU. Fortunately, a wedding in Arizona over conference weekend gave us a chance to see each other again. From that moment on it was daily phone calls, Skype dates, and Lexie's rare visits to Utah, during which we were inseparable. After a few short months of this, Lexie decided to move up to Orem. The rest, as they say, is history.
