Two worlds collided in Asheville when Texas met New Jersey. Kyla had been living in North Carolina for several years post graduate from UNCA where she was then finishing up her Master's Degree in Asheville. Brandon ended up getting a travel contract in East Tennessee which is a little over an hour west of Asheville. Brandon and Kyla matched on a dating app but then curiosity led to nada/zilch/ghosting. However, one day Brandon ended up in Asheville with friends and bravely invited Kyla on a casual day drink extravaganza. Little did Brandon know, Kyla was with her friend that day, so Brandon had to do his part and impress the friend and Kyla in order to get Kyla to a second date. Well, Brandon did his job that day and got that second chance alone with Kyla and some would say..."HE KEPT COMING BACK!" Brandon did end up going to Asheville every weekend in order to catch the attention of Kyla. The hikes, the day drinking, the exploration of new breweries, and love for staying active in all environments led to where they are today.
