FAQs

Question

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

We would love for you to stay at the resort so you can partake in all wedding related activities with ease. The resort is a "closed" site. Those who stay elsewhere will only have access to the resort 30 minutes before the wedding and have to leave 30 minutes after it ends. All of our events will take place here and it's where we will be, we want you to be there too! We've secured a room block at a discounted rate for all of our guests.

Question

Do you have room blocks at the resort?

Answer

Yes, all details for how to book your stay are under the Travel & Accomodations tab. In order to attend the Bonfire and Sunset Cruise events, you MUST use our wedding code when booking! If you’re not sure about attendance or arrival date you can book with one nights deposit and modify your reservation at any time. It is common for these resorts to sell out, so better safe than sorry! Also, the reservation is refundable up until 20 days before the wedding.

Question

How long should we plan on staying in Cabo San Lucas?

Answer

Ideally, we hope all of our guests can enjoy a vacation weekend that starts Thursday and concludes Sunday. The wedding events kick off Thursday (June 11th) and will conclude with a pool day Sunday (June 14th). We however are cognizant of everyone’s busy schedules and just appreciate any amount of time you can spend with us during our wedding week! Please keep in mind that three nights are required for the ROBERTS wedding room rate.

Question

Why Do I Need To RSVP So Early?

Answer

There are a lot of moving parts that go into making a destination wedding happen and we want to make sure our guests have the absolute best time possible. For this to happen, we need RSVPs no later than March 10, 2026. Additionally, the resort requires all rooms under the room block be booked no later than March 10, 2026

Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Please renew or apply for a new passport ASAP. Also make sure to check when your passport will expire and ensure it is after our wedding date.

Question

What does All-Inclusive mean?

Answer

All-inclusive resorts have all food, drinks, and alcohol built into your booking price. That's including restaurants, buffets, room service, pool-side bars, and more. This makes the trip more affordable and easy to enjoy. Also, your all-inclusive "umbrella" extends to the other Pueblo Bonito resorts where you can shuttle over and enjoy their restaurants, pools and beaches. There are roughly 25 restaurants and bars between all properties.

Question

Do we get any special rates or discounts?

Answer

Yes! Wedding guests have savings options on their rooms, transportation, and activities including the spa and golf course. Please check out all of the very detailed information under the "Resort Things To Do" tab. Pacifica has a concierge who will take care of all your booking needs.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:30 so please plan to arrive 5:00-5:15. Hit up one of the open bars while you wait for the ceremony to begin. Better early than late!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outside. In the case of inclement weather, we will be moved into an indoor venue.

Question

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in any wedding events as the resort is 18 years and over only. We are really hoping many of you are able to take advantage of a kids-free, long weekend vacation and fully immerse yourself in all Cabo has to offer. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate everyone having a plus one, but if you do it will be included on your invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely

Question

I’ve booked my room, now what?

Answer

First, make sure to save your hotel confirmation email. It will provide a hyperlink that allows you to modify/cancel your reservation. If you want to change your days, names on the room, upgrade/downgrade your room, or even make payments toward your room cost, it can be done through the link in your confirmation email. Lastly, please let Krista know that you have booked and what days you will be staying!

Question

Anything else to know about the resort?

Answer

A few things… 1. The beaches in Cabo can be dangerous so please look out for no swimming signs. Only some of the beaches at Pueblo Bonito Rose and Blanca are swimmable and you can take the shuttle to those resorts. 2. Tumblers are a must! They will fill up your tumbler with your drink of choice at any bar. 3. We wouldn’t recommend drinking the water in Mexico. You do not need to bring your own water bottles. The resort does source out for their ice so it is completely safe! 4. All-inclusive does include gratuity! However, you can always decide to leave a little extra for your server, bartender or maid.

Question

Will there be any time for explorations or non-wedding related activities?

Answer

Absolutely! Besides the wedding events on the itinerary, the remaining time is meant for you to explore and enjoy the city!
