Our love story kicked off way back in 2003 at Lothian Elementary School. We were adorable little classmates until 2nd grade, when I (Kelsey) moved to Calvert County. I stayed put in the same house (yep, that becomes important later), while Brandon bounced over to Prince Frederick. We ended up at the same middle school—Plum Point—but had no clue we’d known each other before! Brandon moved again (he really got around) to Anne Arundel County for high school at Southern, while we kept in touch here and there on social media. Then one random day in the Huntingtown High parking lot, we ran into each other, put two and two together, and... kept it moving. Fast forward to a quick reconnection at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department (I was a member, he popped in), still—nothing major. Then 2021 rolled around, and fate (and Snapchat) stepped in. Brandon had just moved six houses down from me and realized it after doing a little harmless creeping. We started hanging out (mostly Walmart runs, because obviously that’s the most romantic date spot), and before we knew it—boom—Memorial Day 2022, he asked me to stay the night, and I just... never left! We moved in with his best friend Jesse, and not long after, found out we were expecting Maverick. That’s when we packed up and moved into my mom’s house to start our biggest adventure yet—parenthood!
