Brooke is one of Karlen's middle school besties! Brooke is an intervention specialist for kiddos who are deaf. Brooke just moved into an apartment in Cuyahoga falls and loves hosting book clubs. Karlen and Brooke used to get confused for each other at school, we're really not sure why! Brooke also loves spending time with family, going to church, exploring new bars and restaurants, and taking lots of naps.

Faith is one of Karlen's high school besties, they met in band! Faith is a school psychologist and is living with her husband, Sam, in Cuyahoga Falls. Faith and Sam just got married in June 2025! Faith loves spending time with her family, friends and her husky, Skye. She is also a big time plant mama and is considered to be the plant whisperer amongst her friends.

Kate is one of Karlen's high school besties, they met in band too! Kate works in HR at Goodyear Tire in North Carolina. Kate loves to read and has a beautiful home library. Haleigh is the first friend Karlen made in physical therapy graduate school. Haleigh works as a PT in early intervention with da babies and lives in Port Clinton with her fiancée, Rob. Haleigh loves spending time with her kitties Rocket and Astro, as well as being active, shopping and watching sports. Haleigh is literally good at every sport she tries. Luca is Brandon's best friend, they met in undergraduate and were roommates for three years. Luca is from Milan, Italy! Luca is a PhD student studying experimental physics at MIT in Boston. Luca loves spending time with his friends and girlfriend, Sarah, playing soccer, playing video games with Brandon, reading and traveling.
