In early April of 2023, Brandon and I met in the most unique way! Just kidding… we met online, thanks to Hinge! Neither one of us was really so sure that we’d find our special person on a website, but it turns out, we’re one of the lucky ones! Our first date was in Addison Circle at a cute little cafe called Cafe Astoria. We sat and chatted for a few hours over iced Coffee and a chai latte which Brandon made sure I knew he hated. They say opposites attract right? After coffee, we didn’t quite feel like the night was over and Brandon asked me to go bowling! Later he confessed that he didn’t care what we did that night, he just didn’t want to stop hanging out with me! So sweet! He beat me at bowling and then walked me to my car to say goodnight. We learned that night that we are both the same kind of anxious and awkward and we left with all of the butterflies and smiles. Over the next few weeks, we saw each other several times and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend on April 26th! We knew very quickly that we were meant to be together, and life was pure bliss that summer and into early Fall together! Brandon doesn’t work on Sundays so we made that our official”Date Day”!
