Clayton Flechsig is one of Brandon’s groomsmen and has been by his side since early high school. They attended both Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University together and have been roommates for the majority of the past decade. Clayton has proudly taken on the role of “fun uncle” to Brandon’s dog, Duke—a relationship that Brandon pretends to question but secretly appreciates. At this point, it often feels like the three of them share a single brain cell, and honestly, that’s probably true.

Brendan McCoy is one of Brandon’s groomsmen and closest friends. Despite the ongoing debate over whose first name is superior, Brendan has been a constant presence in Brandon’s life for many years. Known for his competitive, athletic nature, Brendan will never let Brandon forget the time he missed an open goal in high school soccer. Always there to assist, Brendan played a key role in helping Brandon with his proposal to Kaitlyn—and he could not have done it without him.
