Freshman Year - August 2020 Like many great college love stories, ours started somewhere unexpected - the top of a parking garage at USM. We met during the first week of school through a group of friends. Most days, you could find us up there goofing off, playing cards, doing homework (or pretending to), and wasting the day away. From that moment on, we were just friends for the next three years! Between those years, our conversations were short and sweet - a quick "Happy Birthday!" text here, a wave in passing on campus there. Neither of us had any idea that the person we'd been casually crossing paths with would one day become our forever. Junior Year - March 2023 Fast forward to junior year. We ran into each other at the Union and had one of those "wait, it's been forever!" conversations that turned into a genuine catch-up. At the time, we both happened to be single and this time, the conversation didn't end there. Our first hangout? A super casual trip to Raising Cane's (classy, we know). Just two friends catching up, right? Well..that's what we told ourselves. A week later, Brandon invited me to bible study with him - and that quickly became our weekly thing. As we spent more time together, the friendship started to feel a little different. A few weeks later, Brandon took me on a movie date after church, and the rest is history. Then came April 22 - a day I'll never forget. Brandon surprised me with flowers and Crumbl cookies (my favorite sweet treat at the time) and later took me out for a romantic dinner. What I didn't know, though, was that this was his big "ask you to be my girlfriend" moment. So, for an entire day, I had no idea we were officially dating...until he told Grammy that we were! (Oops!) And Then...Forever Since that day, we've shared countless moments filled with laughter, goofiness, adventure, and love. On July 26, 2025, Brandon asked me to marry him and I said YES! Now, here we are, planning our wedding for Summer 2026, surrounded by all the people who've loved and supported us along the way. We can't wait to celebrate with you soon! With love, B & K
