Where do we begin? In February 2025, it will have been seven years, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way. Kaelin & Brandon met on Bumble, and they often joke that Kaelin chose him because he had a dog in his profile picture. Their first date took place at a local dive bar in Lexington, SC. After just a few dates they knew this was different. The rest is history !

** From Kaelin’s perspective ** It’s been a long-awaited journey – we decided to travel to Alaska to visit his grandpa and uncle, as well as to enjoy a much-needed vacation. The day before our adventure, we took a scenic train ride through the mountains to reach Seward, Alaska. We strolled around the town, enjoyed beers at a local brewery, and dined at a charming pub. It truly felt like a dream vacation. That morning, we grabbed our usual coffee and ventured to the boat docks to admire the local Alaskan fishing boats. Soon after, we boarded a large vessel for a sightseeing and wildlife tour around Resurrection Bay. We spotted everything from sea lions to seals, and even humpback and killer whales – it was hard to imagine how the tour could get any better. As we rounded a corner, we were greeted by the sight of a breathtaking glacier, its ice shimmering in brilliant blue hues. When Brandon announced he needed to use the restroom, I was so captivated by the glacier that I didn’t think twice about it. He returned and asked to take a picture, handing my phone to a couple nearby. Unbeknownst to me, he had orchestrated the entire moment with them. We posed for a photo, and suddenly, he was down on one knee, presenting a stunning ring and saying, “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me – will you marry me?” I was overwhelmed with shock and excitement, never truly believing this moment would come. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
