Kenee AKA BeBe has been my best friend since we met in 4th grade at Kellman Elementary School. I had just transferred there from Henson and Kenee was one of the first kids to make me feel welcomed. We've been inseparable since then. We went on throughout high school together acting like we were blood sisters and people actually believed us👯💉💯 To be honest, blood couldn't make us any closer. Our families are very well acquainted! We even refer to each other's mom's as "Ma" THIS IS MY SOUL SISTER😇

Lennie Johnson is my Line-Brother and Best Man. We met at Denison University where we both attended through the Posse Scholarship program. I first met Lennie when he visited campus as a high school senior. I had no clue how close we would grow at that moment. From the moment we prepared to cross the burning sands of our fraternity together, he has always been by my side offering support and strength. 6 years after initiation into Alpha-Phi-Alpha, Lennie is still my Tail and Brother. I chose him to be my Best man because I wouldn't be the Alpha man without him and our Dean, Robert Barry.

Taneria AKA TT is my real sister. Even though she's my older sister, I've always been bigger than her🤣. No matter her size, she's always coming to my rescue when I really need it. Sisters are your first best friends. Her kids are mine which she is already aware of. Our kids are so close that they believe they're all siblings instead of Aiden being the cousin. I know AS LONG AS I HAVE A SISTER I WILL ALWAYS HAVE A FRIEND‼️💯

Charzele and I met at Lovett Elementary School around the 7th/8th grade. He was a transfer student and we quickly bonded and became friends. We share a passion for uplifting our communities and empowering the youth. Charzele's entrepreneurial mindset and strong work-ethic help us both become better people. I am proud to have him by my side as I take this journey. I wish him luck as he enters his own journey of fatherhood.

Natasha AKA Tasha is my good college friend. We started off rocky as suite-mates in Neely Dorms at Southern Illinois University ,but it all changed when we saw how much we had in common. Our childhoods were similar in a way and that pushed us both into a career in Social Services. We graduated together sitting right alongside one another to receive our BSW. Even after college we stayed in touch. I still remember coming to your house for a break from Aiden and something good to eat. You've been a phenomenal motivator, life coach and God Mother of our 3yr old! We sneak calls in throughout each day just to catch up withoutinterruptions from Brandon🤣I admire you in so many ways! You're wise beyond your years and very resourceful! I know Aiden has more fun filled days ahead with you.

Lawrence and I met freshman year of high school and have shared many experiences since. From our high school leadership group: Minority Man, starting a business together, and joining our fraternities, we have been cheering one another on while pushing one another to be better. As a strong man of integrity, Lawrence has encouraged me to grow emotionally and live life with a bigger purpose. Always knew he would be there for me at the wedding.

Mariah AKA Riah is my friend from college. We started off as just roommates in our first apartment together. She was so helpful and welcoming that there was no way not to love her. She always cooks and cleans up and checks on you. You're everything someone could want in a best friend‼️👯♂️💅🏾💇🏽😍 You're my confidant, and I cherish our friendship tremendously. Our bond is strong no matter how far away we are. I adore how ambitious, trustworthy and dependable you're. I still remember you coming over to help with Aiden so I could sleep or finish my papers for class📚👩🏽💻 We've bonded so much over the years and I look at you like my family. It was a MUST I have you in my wedding 👰🏽🎩👏🏽💯😘

CJ is my 1st cousin and one of my earliest inspirations. He has always been a role model for me growing up. When he became a man of Alpha, he showed me the true meaning of brotherhood and service to mankind. CJ helped me see the light, and I soon followed his steps into Alpha. Smart, considerate, and diligent, CJ is a phenomenal man to have in my circle. A true gentleman that encourages others. he has helped shaped how I treat others with kindness.

Ashley...AKA "A.D"🤣 She is my 1st cousin and and my very own personal hairstylist💇🏽 (at least I think so🤷🏽♀️🤣) We are family, so we have built a bond over our entire lives👧🏽👶🏽🍼 I remember crying when it was time for granddad to take me home 🏡 because I didn't want to leave you😭 I've always admired how strong you are! You've always stood up for yourself and your family or friends no matter what! You're reliable, authentic, and independent! Keyonta and I are cousins, but didn't realize it until a family reunion the summer before he entered Denison. Though we didn't grow up together, we quickly realized how alike we were. I admire Kayonta for his passion for music, teaching the youth, and raising his son to be a strong and independent man. An astounding sense of humor and sharp intellect keep our times together fun and interesting. It's great to have someone who I can laugh and build with. I will always be thankful for how events aligned to put us in one another lives.
